Kirinko Studio

【令和8年8月8日に行きました！】English version below 👇

This was my second time visiting the exhibition, and I was so happy to make some new connections this time too.

I was looking at one of my favorite artists from the exhibition, Taka Noguchi-san, who painted adorable illustrations featuring Mt. Fuji and Hachiko, when suddenly the artist himself appeared! I was so surprised!
And to my delight, he told us that our artwork was one of his favorites too. I was so touched 😭❤️

My mom also came to visit, and we enjoyed some Top’s cake at Seibu Shibuya for the first time in ages. Their chocolate cake is SO good. 🍫

My husband’s friends also came to see the exhibition, and one of the wonderful staff member who took such good care of us told us that she is a fan of Magnion’s Marunion. When I gave her the Marugnyon artwork, she was so happy—and that made me incredibly happy too. 🥹

My heart felt completely filled with all the wonderful people I got to meet and reconnect with. ❤️

The exhibition is open until tomorrow, so if you have a chance, please come and check it out!

(I won’t be there tomorrow 🥺)

【The exhibition starts today and runs for the next 3 days!!】

We’re exhibiting on the 2nd floor of Building A at Seibu Shibuya!

I’ve heard that Seibu Shibuya will be closing at the end of next month after more than 50 years of history. If this place holds special memories for you, I hope you’ll take this opportunity to visit.

Last night, I attended the preview and reception. It made me so happy to meet some Magnion fans—thank you for all the love! 😭❤️

It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet so many talented artists.

I’ll be at the exhibition tomorrow (Saturday), so if you’re nearby, please stop by and say hello! # #hachi8project #art #hachiko #shibuya

🌋 鹿児島市シティプロモーションキャラクター「火山の妖精マグニョン」のメガニョンを描いた作品

【会場】 MAIN VENUE｜西武渋谷店 A館2階

Exhibition Announcement

We're excited to share that Kirinko Studio will be participating in the HACHI-8 PROJECT, an exhibition bringing together 88 artists in the heart of Shibuya.
https://88project.tokyo

This opportunity came through our connection with Kagoshima City, where we created the city's promotional character, Volcano Fairy Magnion.
It's been quite a while since we've exhibited our artwork, so we're feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as we prepare these new pieces.
We'll be exhibiting two works:
🐕 A piece inspired by Hachikō.
🌋 A new work featuring Volcano Fairy Meganion, created as our free-theme piece.

If you'll be in Tokyo during the exhibition, we'd love for you to stop by and explore the work of all 88 participating artists.
We're still finalizing the days we'll be at the venue, but we're hoping to spend as much time there as possible and would love to say hello if you visit.

Exhibition Dates:
August 7–9, 2026
Venue:
Seibu Shibuya Store – Building A, 2nd Floor (Main Venue)
